The Gunkel Global Renaissance Project

We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to advance the ideas, philosophy, and legacy of American futurist Patrick Gunkel (1947 - 2017).

At this time the project is operating at a loss due to start-up expenses.

Anyone is free to use Gunkel's ideas and methods so long as attribution is made to Gunkel himself. However, GGRP does not endorse any current development efforts.

We're especially interested in collaborative opportunities in academia and in hearing from people who knew Patrick Gunkel.

Patrick Gunkel was the once-in-a-century genius who showed up at the right time and with the right vision to take humanity to the next level. Our website carries a late 1990s Angelfire/Geocities vibe because we believe that humanity remains "intellectually stuck" at the moment Gunkel offered his epochal vision to the world... and was ignored.
